Limited OEM warranty, no Google services or Android, limited carrier adaptability, and limited functionality makes this a hard pass. You're spending over $1K for a device without the functionality of Android. That's why other brands like oppo and Honor will be a better choice.

An OEM warranty that's not limited, sales show that it doesn't need Google services or Android, carrier adaptability in more places globally, and great functionality makes this a great buy for me. You're spending over $1K for a device that has all of the functionality needed. And just like brands like Oppo and Honor, they are all a much better choice than that brand that keeps having buggy releases due to poor QC.

It's nice that they're getting out of China, but I guess I have a different idea of what "global" means. I think Huawei's biggest selling point for me would be the lack of Google services, and I wouldn't mind trying one of these.
