  • No official Google services support
  • Software updates tend to be infrequent*
  • No standard OEM warranty
  • Side loading

*Of course, Huawei is notorious for not updating their software that's trying to moonlight as a Frankenstein iOS Android clone.

*Huawei tablets can access Google apps

*My Huawei tablets running HarmonyOS get frequent updates

*Huawei does provide a standard OEM warranty.

*DroiTong services and app store are baked into HarmonyOS, and the EasyAbroad app store is on Huawei's own app gallery. Meanwhile, a certain OEM needs to side load fixes for their massive bug issues.

*Of course, Huawei provides frequent updates for their HarmonyOS devices, as I have several that receive them. And their software doesn't have near as many bugs as a certain "big" OEM in the field.

  • Let's call a spade a spade and what it actually is: jumping through hoops, side-loading sketchy third-party workarounds, and compromising your device's security, if you can call a Chinese CCP OEM secure, just to use YouTube or Google Maps. If you have to install shady app stores just to make a 2026 "smart" device functional, native support doesn't exist.
  • Frequent updates mean nothing when you're still locked inside a crippled ecosystem cut off from global developer standards and functionality, relying on patched workarounds every time a security patch breaks your unauthorized Google services. 😏
  • A "warranty" doesn't matter much when half the functionality outside of China requires a prayer, a degree in Side Loading, and a third-party app installer.
  • Imagine talking about bugs while the entire Huawei user experience is one massive, permanent workaround for a missing operating system that's trying to be a cobbled mess of Android and iOS. Pixels get direct, native patches from the actual ecosystem creators—not duct-taped software solutions from shady third-party app stores trying to bypass mandated restrictions.

Savor the Huawei corporate gymnastics course while working overtime to defend a platform that requires an entire underground, black-market ecosystem just to have basic app and functionality. 😏

Someone is BIG mad because my preferred OS can run your preferred OEM's apps and services better than their favorite device can. 😏 All the above 👆🏾 that was said is just a blind admission to never having owned a Huawei device running HarmonyOS. I love it when they out their own lack of knowledge and experience lol.

Savor the buggy corporate gymnastics course while working overtime to defend a platform that requires an entire fleet of battleships full of round the clock "exterminators" due to the buggy ecosystem fighting against the user to have bug free apps and functionality. 😏

😏 This is coming from the individuals who were so big 😡😤😡😠 that they ousted their own family members just to evangelize their own platform while taking personal shots just because said individual couldn't counter what said family member posted. That wasn't blind admission, that was a surgical beat down in the operating room where I'm the surgeon bringing the smoke. My "platform" doesn't have to resort to shady workarounds just to get popular apps and services.

Funny how some individuals talk about staying on topic when said individuals can't even defend their own platform without mentioning the Pixels. Don't try and deny it because we both know what you were referring to. Said individual should know by now that I'm not afraid to call them out and stand on business while bringing the smoke. Said individual should know by now what happens when they try to bold up to me before they're ran back off again just by saying a certain word. Said individual isn't ready for that smoke here or there.
