It seems with price hikes on all phones this is the year to keep your phone another year and just read your reviews on the new ones let them sit on the shelves.

The pricing increases are mostly out of Google's hands. memory of all types is about 6X it's price of 2 years ago. Contracts for these phones are signed usually locking in a price for a set production period. With AI eating memory supplies for the next 2 years, buckle up for higher and higher electronics prices.

What Google is doing makes no sense, because if they're going to raise the price, it should be because they're adding better or more specifications, and they're doing the exact opposite.
