The fact that only now is there a version that targets iOS, not to mention that iOS has a long support period, does mean that it is more secure than Android.

It's funny talking about security and how secure IOS is.

As a software engineer with over 15 years of experience, I can tell you that is half the truth.

The only reason it appears more secure is because side loading is not possible, for the time being!

Code to code, both IOS and Android are as secure. Its how good they scan the apps before being allowed to be published on their app stores.

But side loading is where it makes it dangerous, and IOS will get side loading support soon, at least here in the EU.

I agree with you 100% its just the people's mentalities that live in the past that I cant deal with. But not only in terms of security but also in terms of BUGS, and software issues.

100% Now imagine receiving a device with hardware defects. If the hardware has defects i can only imagine how secure that device is.

Android is 10000000 times easier to hack into thats for sure but if the hackers are now i mean only now getting to break into IOS just imagine how much safer IOS is. Its common sense. Here even google them selves let spy apps and apps with trojan virus into the app store every other day is here on PHONEARENA google found 100+ apps that can steal this or that but by that time people already lost their money and identity. That one guy in india lost millions thanks to an infect app in google play store.
