"Apple solved" the crease problem.

No, SAMSUNG may have solved the crease problem. The display in the Apple fold comes from SAMSUNG, not Apple.

Plus, you know there will be people complaining that the outer screen is bright & sharp but the INNER screen is dim & dull.

Will be interesting to see if Apple, says you are looking at it wrong 😉

Outside of the tech reviewers' opinions, folding/flip phone users very well know for a fact that a matte display effectively "hides" the crease because light does not reflect on it. Only tech reviewers are convinced that this is a "new tech" or "innovative". Flip/folding phone users have used matte films have known this fact for many years.

Trying it out for 20 minutes in an Apple Store, and owning one for two to three years is a huge difference. The more you open it, the more that crease is gonna increase, and the hinge has more than 100 components. That’s a lot to go wrong. My Fold 7 has held up well for 1 year plus, I don’t open it a lot, and the crease has still become more pronounced. It’s the simple nature of the machine. Buy one, but don’t let Apple fool you into thinking the crease and hinge won’t eventually act up. You’ll probably replace the phone with a new one, before it actually becomes trouble though.
