🙄 It’s exhausting to see this same tired, narrow-minded narrative again from the same butthurt author. I didn't bother addressing the last garbage hit pieces, but I guess I have to bring out the verbal pipe 💣.

The poorly construed article conveniently frames a software-side bug—which can affect any platform during a major OS transition—as some inherent, existential failure of the Pixel hardware itself.

If we’re going to be honest about "struggling" performance, it’s worth noting that every single major platform has had its share of day-one update disasters, overheating controversies, and optimization bottlenecks. Yet, somehow, when it happens to a Pixel, it’s a sign that the brand is falling apart, but when it happens to a Galaxy or an iPhone, it’s just a "fixable bug." This performative outrage ignores that developers and OEMs regularly battle these integration issues across the entire ecosystem.

It’s even more ironic to talk about "premium" value while hyper-fixating on specific software regressions as if they define the entire user experience. Real technical journalism would look at the broader landscape of Android 17 deployment rather than cherry-picking reports to fuel a specific "Pixel vs. the world" engagement cycle. Maybe it's time to stop treating tech news as a fan-war weapon and acknowledge that bugs are a universal constant, not a brand-exclusive feature. 😏

Seriously, this has gone past the point of comical, and has entered the point of "WTF are you going when it comes to updating Pixels, Google"? The current Pixel team either needs to be replaced with more competent people in charge of the software and hardware, or Google needs to have them take a step back and really work on their QC. I'd stop calling Pixels "Forver Beta & Buggy", but Google has yet to give me a reason to stop, considering all of these bugs and issues. This is the 3rd or fourth article here in such a short span of time regarding issues with Pixels.

It would be more than okay if the Pixel team didn't push these updates out so Pixels get them first, and instead waited a little longer and performed some more testing so that they get it right. As it is, the Pixel brand is suffering huge blows and is being negatively impacted due to the awful experience users have been having with their Pixels due to this extreme lack of QC.

🙄 It’s fascinating to hear one who champions other, questionable platforms preaching about "quality control" and "competence." Bringing up QC as a primary concern while defending a brand whose entire recent history is defined by being effectively cut off from global software standards, official support for core mobile services, and widespread international market access is a masterclass in irony.

Suggesting that the Pixel team needs to "take a step back" while the brand you’re defending is currently operating in a completely different, isolated ecosystem—one that lacks the foundational integration of modern Android—really highlights where your limited priorities are. It’s easy to critique a platform that is actually out in the wild, dealing with real-world, iterative development on the cutting edge of Android, when you’re comparing it to a ghost of a smartphone ecosystem that hasn't played by the same rules for years.

If the goal here is to talk about "suffering huge blows" and "awful experiences," maybe take a long, hard look at the actual state of the mobile market instead of just piling on every time a bug report hits the feed. It’s clear this isn't about quality or concern for the user—it’s just a tired, partisan attempt to frame software growing pains as an industry disaster. If you think the current state of Pixel software is "comical," you might want to consider what it says about your own biased perspective when you’re still trying to argue for the relevance of a platform that has been sidelined by reality. 😏

Right on cue, beewubya can't face the facts, and instead chooses to lash out like an immature child with the cheap potshots and go off topic. And it's using AI assisted comments to do it. Talk about sinking to a new low lol. I would say that I'm surprised, but this is the norm for it.

How about trying to stay on the topic of the article for once, instead of trying to derail the comments section like you normally do, because your favored Pixel platform is a forever beta & buggy mess. 😏

Right on cue emmgee says, right on cue to send emmgee back on another vacation. I'm lashing out like an immature child? That's rich coming from the same individual who has crashed out multiple times in various articles just like that 🤡 Kamal used to do in BlackBerry articles. It's a cheap potshot when it disproves their narrative, but the truth and the cold, hard facts if emmgee does it. That's what we call hypocrisy, and emmgee is giving off more hypocrisy than the atomic 💣.

And I'm using AI assisted comments? 🤣 Or is it because my intelligence isn't artificial like the ones trying to moonlight as a "genius" in an OPEN FORUM?

Here's a tip "genius," don't try and lecture anyone on staying in topic when you yourself can't even stay on topic for your own platform.

Oh and to really hurt the fragile ego, here's a factoid from another Pixel user lol:

Literally ZERO issues with Android 17 on my Pixel 9 Pro XL. And judging from your pole, the majority of Pixel owners are also having zero issues. I'm just going to call it what it actually is the majority of the time: USER ERROR."

😏 Sit this one out because you're not ready for that smoke or another vacation again.

Lol, and beewubya contiues to go off topic in an attempt to derail the comments section, because it can't form a credible or valid arguement in defense of it's Forever Beta & Buggy Pixel platform, proving everything that I said in my previous comment to be true. And its use of AI generated comments due to its extreme lack of intelligence can't save it lol.

You should just quit while you're behind and sit this one out, because you're not ready for a dust particle, much less any smoke, or another vacation like the one you just came off of. 😏

And emmgee continues to deflect and project just because I dismantled their asinine rhetoric in an OPEN FORUM with my natural intelligence that isn't artificial at all. And it still can't disprove what I previously said even with sideloading, so it takes the usual copout route of denial with copium 💊s.

Like I said before, sit this one out because you're not ready for that smoke or another vacation.

And beewubya continues to deflect, project, and go off topic in an attempt to derail the comments section because it can form a viable and credible argument in defense of its Forver Beta & Buggy Pixel platform that it favors so much. It knows that any argument that it could try and make will be dismantled, much like its asinine rhetoric in an OPEN FORUM always is. At least it realized that using AI generated comments only further exposed itself lol. You can tell by its extremely mundane response lol. But do continue to respond with your deflection, projection, and off topic comments in an attempt to derail the comments section because you can’t form a credible defense in favor of Google and its Pixels regarding the topic at hand, as I love the fact that you keep proving me right.

🙄 It’s adorable that emmgee really thinks it's in any position to declare someone "behind" while it's still romanticizing another failed brand that’s been living in a side loading witness protection program for years.

If it's so desperate to avoid "mundane" responses, maybe it should try bringing an argument that doesn't rely on reciting the same, overplayed three-year-old script about beta testing. But please, don't let me stop your anti-Pixel crusade - your commitment to being the loudest (🚫 genius) person in an OPEN FORUM full of people who stopped caring about your grievances and tantrums is truly an inspiration.

Like I said before, sit this one out because you don't want that smoke or another vacation. 😏
