« Durability seems solid, but it's still surprisingly thick, and the weight remains a concern »🤡🤡🤡

Dude, iPhone Pro and Pro Max are very thin and light. Are you a midget or very weak ?🤔

I’ve noticed my iPhone 17pro was havier than my iPhone 12 I was upgrading from. I like the weight - feels premium. But I love that it’s metal all around the back - that’s my favorite part of the exterior. I hope the trend continues and they get rid of the glass completely - I don’t care for inductive charging.

Ever since Apple started selling multiple sizes, the highest-end "small" phone has been creeping up in weight:

  • iPhone 6: 129 grams
  • iPhone 7: 138 grams
  • iPhone 8: 148 grams
  • iPhone X: 174 grams
  • iPhone XS: 177 grams
  • 11 Pro: 188 grams
  • 12 Pro: 189 grams
  • 13 Pro: 204 grams
  • 14 Pro: 206 grams
  • 15 Pro: 187 grams
  • 16 Pro: 199 grams
  • 17 Pro: 206 grams

Of course, much of this is due to increased sizes of screens (and accompanying battery requirements) and cameras. But iPhone Air proved that they can trim a lot of weight in a modern phone without sacrificing much.

If you think sacrificing the battery is 'not much', then you deserve to be with Apple.
