Discussion - iPhone Ultra gets a direct nod from Apple

The apps are the real problem with the iPhone, and no one here on PhoneArena will ever address that. Foldables in the Android world have been present for almost 9 years now. So the Android app world has already gone through its growing pains, and has addressed the foldable apps issue before day one. Apple still to this day gets their developers to create separate apps for iPhones and iPads. Android never did that. This is why the app issue is still a major problem within the Apple development community.

Apple's first foldable phone is a copy of the Z Fold 8 and the old Huawei Pura X from 2 years ago. The same exact aspect ratio from the Android competition. iOS is not built for split screen and is inferior when it comes to multitasking. However, I'm happy that after 9 years, Apple is now able to catch up with the technology. They have been lagging behind in innovation these past few years.

"The batteries in this iPhone are performing as expected."

"The health of the batteries in this iPhone has significantly degraded."

Both of these statements can be true without any conflict. Apple wants the battery to fail so you buy a new phone. (Most people will not replace only the battery, they will replace the whole device.)

Before anybody starts, yes, I do have a Galaxy S24 Ultra that I'm in the process of paying off. My iPhone 15 Pro Max is my primary phone, and I'm upgrading to the 18 Pro Max, but I'm not upgrading to overly expensive garbage iPhone fold.
