I was really hoping that the "Pixel Glow" feature we were all expecting would work like this...HiLight turned out so feature limited that I am really thinking about using Dhananjay's solution even though I've not installed something like it before. Maybe a future update will make the native feature more robust?

I am sorry but one app to make a light notification more usable does not make the $1100 phone s uddenly worth that price. Seldom if ever do people leave their phone face down and then keep glancing over at it to see if a light is flashing.

Cute feature overall. Definitely gimmicky.

I got $1,000 off the P11 Pro XL through Fi ($600 for having an account + $400 for trade in) so I accepted the purchase. I just have to stay on Fi for 24 months... okay.

All that being said, this is the least excited I've been about a new phone since I had to get a refurbished one back in the flip phone era because my 3 years wasn't up and didn't have an upgrade.

🙄 Maybe they can make an app that helps the author write articles that aren't whiny, click bait Pixel hit pieces.

Why is the notification light on the back of the phone? Any phone I've owned that had a notification light is always on the front. So you can see it.

I don't ever put my phone face-down because I don't like scratches, and I also like to see what is on the screen if a notification comes in. Everything about this HiLight thing seems half-baked.

Shhhhhh Google hasn't released the "updated" new case to carry your new phone around in that has a tiny right angle mirror that reflects the "HiLight" feature so you don't have to lay it on its face. 🤣
