Couldn't take the poll. My option wasn't listed: "I don't see the appeal of foldables"

References a better device as an excuse to post an article slobbing Apples' knob. Classic Phone Arena.

So Huawei did it first and then followed up this year with the second... "APPLE REVOLUTIONIZES THE INDUSTRY!" Seem about right on iPhone Arena. haha

I mean, you don't think that people at apple use other companies phones to see which ones they like and don't like and what would be the best option for them to produce?

I will say that when Huawei created it, Samsung probably didn't care much. But then apple realized how cool this is (Like I have said prior, if I didn't have the XT I would have gotten the pura X last year) so Samsung go to work. And same for Xiaomi, but the genesis of this was Huawei.

Revolutionized by making it less functional and smaller? Videos are literally the same size on the inner display (a Fold7 and 8 Ultra in landscape are the same physical width as the Fold8).

The Fold8 cover display is too wide for comfortable extended use. The Fold7 and 8 Ultra cover displays are slightly wider than a standard S26; anyone complaining about typing being difficult on them is lying.

Losing Flex Mode because ... Reasons? The Fold8 Ultra has flex mode (as will the iPhone, based on iOS 27 code for angle position sensing). The crease of the Fold8 is worse than the 8 Ultra, too. You gain nothing for giving up flex mode.

The Fold8 (and it's form factor) is overly compromised garbage. Look how many "the honeymoon is over" videos and articles are coming out now about it, lol.
