The stylus is the star of the show and it's worth the extra $100. It's no longer a toothpick with a hard, rubberized tip. It's an active stylus that allows finger inputs to be turned off on most note apps avoiding stray marks. Up until now, only the Galaxy Note and S Ultra series were capable of this while having a stylus in a silo.

For the extra $100 we should at least get a 7 series chip

At $300+ for years, this has been a mid-range phone. The only thing budget about it may be some of its specs, definitely not its price. This is not in the same class as the G Play. This increase only cements it further. Budget phone, lol.

Motorola should have a built in active stylus as well in the next Signature flagship phone. The last time Motorola had a stylus option is with the Edge 30 Pro.

Did you do any research into GrapheneOS hardware requirements and what motorola has said about which phone will have GrapheneOS I mean, this is your job, right? Anyways... For those who are curious, motorola has previously stated that the g series will NOT be dropping with GrapheneOS. They do jot have the security hardware required for it. But, the new line of phones will be made specifically for GrapheneOS, and will (supposedly) drop later (3rd/4th Q) this year.

And now to comment on the g stylus 26... garbage. I've been waiting for an active stylus from Motorola for a long time and they put it in a phone that is just a sideways movement from my current one? On top of that, they allow carriers now to lock down developer options. I won't be buying another Motorola device. At least not until that stops. And probably not until that AND they relearn the dictionary definition of the word upgrade.

I'm still using a usb c dongle on my phone for wired ear buds. The phone jack is still a big deal.
